Pia MYrvoLD

 

Plans for 2020 were largely interrupted by the global Covid pandemic. However, in 2021, Myrvold was the artistic director, curator and producer of a three-month open Masterclass at TOU Ølhallen, Stavanger, engaging the  general public in creating art productions, videos, photos, dance, and music — complemented by performances in public spaces during lockdown. The project was titled Artists in Residence — Pia Myrvold and the Sumerians on Holiday.

In 2023, she was invited by Opline Art Prize and Wisdom, France, to exhibit Time Machine at the Shenzhen Art Museum, attracting more than 220,000 visitors.

In 2024, the London gallery startup Cole Levi Klimt invited her as curator for their exhibition Extensions of the Soul at Copeland Gallery, Peckham London.

​

For European Capital of Culture 2025, the RoR Festival invited her for the opening exhibition RIVER, at Gong Gallery, curated by BridA.

​

Back in Norway, Myrvold produced the Pia Myrvold Art Production communal project The Great Recycle and created the sculpture series The Pleiadian Guardians.
